ENDURANCE PILATES™ MAT
Intro to Pilates
For the new to Endurance Pilates student with a regular exercise program. Intro to Pilates will focus on pilates terminology, form, exercise safety and movement concepts utilizing the basic pilates mat exercises. Most students transferring from other pilates studios (non Romana) will need to start at this level of mat class.
Basic Pilates Mat
Most students in Basic Pilates Mat class will have Pilates experience. Basic does not mean easy or introductory course. Basic Pilates will focus on proper movement form and technique utilizing the Authentic Classical system to teach basic pilates concepts. Be ready to SWEAT and work.
Multi-Level Pilates Mat
Fast paced Authentic Classical Pilates Mat Class not appropriate for students that are new to Endurance- the exercises are basic, however, you will be challenged to perform them with perfect form. This class is for a seasoned Endurance Pilates crowd. The class is quick, you should be familiar with the Authentic Pilates order, transitions and be ready to sweat.
Intermediate Pilates Mat
After a brief warmup, we will follow the traditional classical Pilates repertoire in the order created by Joseph Pilates. For the intermediate student familiar
with the exercises- mastery of the Intermediate order is essential, please do not attend if you do not know the order.
Advanced Pilates Mat
For the advanced pilates student. Classically based Authentic pilates class involving advanced pilates exercises and all transitions. No drop-ins- you will be required to recite and perform the advanced Classical mat order prior to attending. Not kidding- for serious students ONLY.
Permission from Instructor is required to attend. No injuries or pregnancies and students are expected to have a minimum of 2 years Endurance pilates experience with Julie prior to attending.
ENDURANCE PILATES™ YOGA CLASSES
Power Vinyasa Yoga
Linking vinyasa and asana, the class will be based on an Ashtanga Vinyasa practice utilizing breath and movement to warm and stretch the body and quiet the mind. The class is a flowing, physically challenging yoga practice which can be modified, but a strong physical fitness level is recommended
Slow Flow Vinyasa Restorative
With elements of yin, vinyasa and restorative yoga, this class is designed to strengthen deep connective tissue, build breath and heat with a powerful slow flow and relax the body into a deep savasana. End your week blissfully and enter the weekend settled and rested.
Not your mama's barre workout! Get those legs and derriere you've been looking for! Using the barre and traditional pilates exercises infused with contemporary leg work, Barre Boston will target the large and small muscles of the legs to build a long lean leg look and a round, tight tush. Unlike some other barre classes, this class was designed by a runner whose regular running mileage consists of 50+ miles per week and found other barre methods to be too easy- our goal is to have you limping up the stairs after your workout! If you have done a ballet class, you know that the barre work is VERY challenging- we take that up a few notches, add in some additional leg training tricks and will get you the cutest booty in town!
Intro to Barre Boston
For the new to Endurance student. We will break down all of the elements of a barre workout for you so that you can safely sculpt your derriere and flatten your belly! Still a very challenging workout- intro does not mean easy! Appropriate for all levels of exerciser, please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are pregnant PRIOR to attending this class.
Barre Boston Basics
For the experienced Barre Boston student, or already very physically fit student- we will pick up the pace and duration of our exercises, add in a little more Classical Pilates and will expect an all out effort in class! We DO NOT play music in this class and part of your warmup is 50 pushups, HIIT and burpees.
Barre Boston Challenge
For the experienced Barre Boston student. Intermediate level class. We will add in a faster pace, more exercises and expect a proper understanding of barre and Pilates exercises. We DO NOT play music in this class and part of your warmup is 50 pushups, HIIT and burpees.
Perfect Assets in No-time
Dragon Door Hardstyle kettlebell class incorporating traditional plyometrics, TRX suspension training, Tabata, pilates and challenging cardio. Prior permission from Instructor is required to attend and class is limited to 7 participants. No injuries or pregnancies and not appropriate for those new to exercise. A 10 minute OUTDOOR (yes, even in the winter, yes, even with the snow) sprint down Washington St and a four minute jump rope are the class warmups- the class will become even more challenging from there! If you are unable to run, you cannot attend. You must know have kettle bell experience and be familiar with Classical Pilates in order to attend. The workout is geared to the VERY fit individual, not for newbies- you are already athletic looking to up your performance. We do not provide modifications- PAIN students should not need them- keep this in mind. You will need to be VERY body aware to take this class and we will say no to your attendance if you are not ready. This is a liability issue and everyone else in the class will be upset that you are holding them back!

ENDURANCE PILATES™ REFORMER BOSTON PROGRAM
REFORMER CLASSES- BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
Reformer classes are not included in our monthly mat membership or first class free.
Intro to Reformer
For the new to Endurance Pilates student with a regular exercise program. Most students transferring from other pilates studios (non Romana) will need to start at this level of reformer class.
Basic Classical Authentic Reformer
Basic reformer class- for students with some Endurance Pilates experience.
Multi-Level Classical Authentic Reformer
Multi-level reformer class for the reformer student with some specific pilates reformer experience. You will be expected to change your own springs and set up your equipment in class.
For the experienced reformer student. Classical reformer workout. Instructor permission required to attend- you must have attended a minimum of five years of
classical reformer or have a professional dance/performance background to participate in this class. Students transferring from other studios must demonstrate proper form, knowledge of springs on our studio reformers and understanding of transitions prior to taking intermediate or advanced reformer.
Please note- we have a 24 hour cancellation policy for classes- you will be charged for your session if you do not provide 24 hours notice prior to canceling.
