Teresa went on less than a month after Boston to WIN HER AGE group at the Shires Marathon AND qualified for Boston - what an accomplishment!

Courtesy of Endurance Pilates, I now have--
-the best abs of my life
-the best 60-year-old glutes imaginable
-peace of mind (who can worry about work when trying to figure out exactly what muscle Julie is telling us to contract?)
-comrades who know that she really means it when she says, "That's all the torture for tonight!"
Most of all, I just did 25.64 miles of the Boston Marathon without pain while silently chanting "Core Strength, Oppositional Stretch!"
I didn't finish because of the tragic bombings, but my body could have run and run and run.

This is my first Yelp review - and I have to say, Endurance Pilates studio is THAT good to create an account on Yelp. I've been contemplating whether to leave a review or not, since part of me wants to keep this studio as Boston's best kept secret. However, knowing that many of our generation heavily rely on social media and internet, I've decided to share my story. I am not athletic at all, gave up on sports or fitness ever since I graduated high school. I work in front of a computer every day, and my posture became so bad like most of the people in front of desks. I wanted to change how I sit and stand, and after nights of research I decided to try Pilates. My first Endurance Pilates class was in September of 2017, and after my first class, I got hooked! Since then I attend regularly and never once I came out of studio thinking "is this worth it". It is worth it every time. I walk out of the studio not only feeling good about myself, but my family and friends have noticed how much happier and healthier I am after a couple of months. It's not about my posture at this point anymore (I've attended for almost 10 months now), it's about my life-long health. Truth to be told, I attend couple other studios on the days I cannot get to Endurance Pilates studio. However, this is by far my favorite studio to workout. It's not fusion Pilates like most places in Boston offers, this is legitimate Pilates as it gets. There's more: classes are so intimate, smallest size offered anywhere in Boston unless you take a private lesson, and instructors are so helpful and they really watch your form to make sure you learn Pilates the right way. I really hope you can also experience the life / body changing journey I've had. Endurance Pilates Studio made someone like me, who regularly makes a New Year's resolution about working out because that never exceeds over a week or two, to sign up for classes months ahead, so I can secure my spot and get excited about working out.

I've been going to Endurance for 2.5 years now. I love it! It is such a great workout and the instructors are all fabulous (I've taken classes and lessons with all of them). They are so knowledgeable and friendly. I even brought my parents to Endurance while they were in town and they LOVED it! They had such a great workout and my dad said he felt like he just left a chiropractor.

After a lifetime of being at war with my body, whose genetics seem hell-bent on making me resemble a pear (a pear with great clothes and killer friends, yes, but still resolutely a pear) I saw more changes in my "problem areas" from three weeks at Endurance than I'd seen my whole life. This place is transformative. It's results-driven without a drop of pretension-- no front row diva stuff, no smoke and mirrors. The classes at Endurance will help you awaken muscles you didn't even know you had. It's the most encouraging, respectful, butt-kicking, life changing workout I've ever had. The studio is immaculate, the teachers are endlessly patient and driven to help you achieve a sustainable, healthy level of fitness that leaves you feeling energized, strong and toned. Julie is incredible; there is no other trainer with her level of expertise, reputation and dedication who is so down-to-earth and personally invested in her students. She has built something truly unique: a spotless, supportive environment for people of all fitness levels to come and work harder than they've ever worked in their lives (seriously, the most intensive and effective full body workout I've ever experienced.) You will sweat, you will be sore, you will get stronger, faster, better. You will feel proud of your body for seeing how hard it can work. And you will become addicted to these classes because of how they make you feel, both physically and emotionally. Just go.
